Student Websites - SRT 3 Below is a copy of the user agreement that students and parents must agree to, before students are given ftp access. Click here for instuctions to upload your website.

• What to include
  • Homepage
  • At least 3 pages that are portfolio items
    • The pages should have 3 examples of some of your best work
    • Include any appropriate files and/or pictures
    • Explain what the assignment was
    • Include the final product
  • A footer on every page that includes the following
    • The statement, “This is a page created by a student of the SMA.”
    • A link that says, “SMA Homepage” (http://www.scienceandmathacademy.com)
    • A link that says, “SMA Student Page Index” (http://students.scienceandmathacademy.com) (This link could be included in your navigation.)
  • Navigation between your pages
  • Uniform, professional formatting
  • Appropriate graphics
  • Creativity
• What NOT to include
  • Personal Information, (birthday, address, phone number, email address, try to avoid your using your first name, etc.)
  • Copyrighted material
  • Material from other web pages
  • Do not exceed 50 Mb of used space, unless you have written approval from Mr. Evans.

Before obtaining and using your individual account information you and a parent/guardian must sign the following agreement.

• Only include material that is appropriate and does not violate any SMA rules, Aberdeen High School rules, or Harford County Public School policies.
• I will not share you login information with anyone!
• I will keep others from obtaining my login information. Memorize it and then put it in a safe place that only I have access to.
• I am responsible for everything posted under my folder.
• I will not attempt to impact the Science and Mathematics Academy web site in a negative manner. (i.e. excessive uploads, trying to hack into other parts of the site, or any other destructive intentions)
• Remember all activity associated with my individual account is monitored and recorded.
