- A four year program designed to challenge and meet the needs of highly motivated, academically talented students who are interested in science, mathematics, and technology.
- A rigorous program that emphasizes the development of problem solving skills and the participation in independent and collaborative research projects.
How is the Science and
Mathematics
Academy
program different from traditional high school programs?
- Students will be required to take a course entitled - Science, Research, and Technology that integrates the disciplines of science and mathematics with technology and research skills.
- Students will complete a senior capstone project in an area of their interest, under the guidance of a faculty advisor/mentor, or as an intern.

?
- Students residing in
Harford
County
who are currently enrolled in Grade 8.
- Students who are able to complete Geometry prior to the start of ninth grade.
